TANC currently has internship and volunteering opportunities.
Internships
TANC is pleased to offer upto six unpaid internships a year – two each in Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall. The internship program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with a hands on opportunity to work in a small community-based nonprofit. Interns will have the opportunity to undertake both general tasks as well as work on specific projects. Internships may also involve travel within the Bay Area, attending various events, and meeting with Northern California Tibetan community members.

Volunteering
TANC is looking for energetic and committed volunteers with interest and/or skills in the following areas:
- event organizing
- database support
- teacher training Workshops
- medical and health
- organizational manuals
- organizational development
- financial management and accounting
- grant writing and funding research
- graphic design
- photography
- writing and blogging
TANC will offer community service credit to student volunteers. It will provide a letter which the the student volunteer can forward to their schools or include in their school applications.
