North America Tibetan Youth Congress (NATYC) is a collective representative of Tibetan Youth Congress chapters across North America. NATYC borrows its inspiration and ideals from Tibetan Youth Congress, Dharamsala-based largest non-governmental organization in exile, and is committed to restoring Tibet’s independence under the unquestioned leadership of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

A conglomerate of six chapters from San Francisco, New York/ New Jersey, Portland, Minnesota, Seattle and Toronto (Canada), NATYC spearheads a double strategy of furthering the Tibetan independence movement and facilitating for the North America-based Tibetan community preservation of its ancient cultural tradition. Central to such activities remains its goal of translating international community’s support for Tibet into concrete governmental-level policies aimed at facilitating early negotiations towards resolving the Tibet issue between His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Chinese government.

NATYC understands the privilege of its unique situation in a continent spanning world’s leading democracies, the United States of America and Canada; and draws inspiration from the promises this opportunity holds.
