Tashi Delek fellow Tibetans and friends,

Welcome to the Seattle Tibetan Youth Congress website. The Seattle Tibetan Youth Congress was founded on October 7th 2001, the same day the Tibetan Youth Congress was founded back in 1970 in Dharamsala. Apart from the main objectives of the TYC, we are devoted to being politically active for the Tibetan cause in Seattle doing everything we can and to making the Tibetan community a more cohesive one.

Besides, the many important goals of TYC, one of our main goals is to help preserve our Tibetan culture. In an effort to teach Tibetan, we have worked hard to organize Tibetan Lessons at the Sakya Monastery every Sunday at 2 p.m. Seattle T.Y.C. is organizing 2002 March 10 Uprising Day at WestLake Center, downtown, Seattle.
